Located at 1545 Pine Street in San Francisco, the Austin is part of the storied and vibrant neighborhood known as Lower Polk. With multiple outdoor spaces, including a landscaped roof terrace and a lobby lounge, residents are privy to an ultimate retreat from the bustling community without sacrificing the necessities of modern city living.
The 12 story high-rise development offers an exclusive collection of over 100 studios, one and two bedroom units. The ground level is comprised of active ground floor uses with a mix of retail, gallery, and bicycle repair space. Taking cues from the previous auto dealerships that once lined the VanNess corridor, the Austin offers floor to ceiling windows broken only by a subtle accentuation of the floor line.
Weaver completed this work as a Senior Project Manager with BDE Architecture who is credited as the Architect of Record.
